How we back the tires we install

Coverage varies from one tire to the next, so we confirm the exact manufacturer coverage on the set you choose before you buy. We keep that paperwork on file, so if you ever need to make a claim the record is there and we file it for you. The manufacturer decides it, not us.

On our side of the counter the promises are simple. Sizing is worth double-checking before you buy: your door placard lists the tire size your vehicle is built for, and the sidewall of the tire you are replacing shows it too. Tell us what you find and we will gladly help you match it. We re-torque your wheels for free after your first drive, once everything has settled. We stand behind our work: if anything we did is not right, bring it back and we fix it, no charge.

The honest math on price

A premium tire often costs less per kilometre over its life, because it can last longer and wear more evenly, so a lower sticker price does not always mean a lower total cost. We would rather show you the total you actually pay, tires plus fitting, than quote one number and let the other surprise you later.

Manufacturer warranty

Coverage on Hankook tires is the manufacturer's, not ours. We file the claim for you and keep your receipt, odometer reading and service history on file so nothing is missing when it reaches the manufacturer, and the manufacturer decides it.

Treadwear	50,000 to 145,000 km across 26 lines.
Manufacturing defects	6 years, free replacement for an initial period then prorated.
Road hazard	Within one year from date of purchase. Tread cutoff: Within the first 2/32nds of original tread depth Applies only to listed eligible Ventus, Kinergy, Optimo, Dynapro and Winter i*cept lines. Excludes original equipment tires, repairable punctures, runflats, pre-studded models and any tire once studded. Taxes, mounting, balancing and service charges are not included, and a tire replaced free under road hazard is not eligible again.
Trial	30 day free trial on listed eligible lines, 4 to 6 tires per vehicle, mounting and balancing included and valve stems extra; the SureTire Plan page states a 100 day free trial on iON EV tires.

Do carmakers fit Hankook tires from the factory?

Yes. Hankook is used as original equipment by a number of carmakers, meaning its tires are engineered to meet those manufacturers' own targets for grip, comfort and efficiency. It is one honest signal of a well-engineered tire, and if your vehicle came on Hankooks, staying with the line keeps a familiar feel.

Does Hankook make winter tires for New Brunswick?

Yes. The Winter i*cept line is a dedicated winter range with a cold-weather compound built for snow and ice, a different category from an all-season rather than a cheaper version of one. Tell us your commute and vehicle and we will confirm the right fitment.

Are Hankook tires worth it?

Often, yes, because a well-made tire can cost less per kilometre over its life once you spread the price across longer tread wear and steadier performance.
