Terms for all tire purchases made through pitstopandgo.com or in-store at PitStop & Go in Fredericton, NB. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
PitStop & Go sells new tires both online through our store at pitstopandgo.com and in-store at our Fredericton location. We carry new tires from a range of manufacturers across premium, mid-range, and value tiers. Inventory and brand availability may vary by season and supplier stock. Tires may be purchased separately (supply only) or bundled with installation service at our shop. Installation pricing is separate from tire pricing unless explicitly stated as a bundle.
All tire prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or the Environmental Handling Fee unless explicitly stated. Tire availability is subject to supplier stock and seasonal demand. If a tire you order is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or process a full refund. Prices shown online are for tire supply only and do not include installation unless the listing explicitly states 'supply and install.'
Orders may be placed online through pitstopandgo.com or in-store. Online orders are confirmed by email. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and e-transfer. A $50 deposit secures your order and reserves your installation slot; the balance is due when your tires are installed (or on collection for supply-only orders). Tire deposits are non-refundable, except where the issue is on our end (e.g. we cannot supply the tires ordered, we order the wrong item, or we cancel the order). PitStop & Go reserves the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, inventory discrepancies, or payment issues. In such cases, a full refund of any amount paid will be issued promptly. Billing questions: if you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first at info@pitstopandgo.com or (506) 248-6006 before initiating a card dispute — almost every billing issue can be resolved directly, and faster. We respond to all card-network disputes with complete order records and communications.
Tires ordered online may be picked up in-store at 300 Wilsey Road #1, Fredericton, or installed at our shop. You will be notified by email or phone when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation. Uncollected orders held beyond 14 days may be subject to a daily storage fee of $5.00 per tire per day. We do not currently offer tire shipping — all online tire orders are fulfilled by in-store pickup or installation at our Fredericton location.
An Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) of $4.50 per tire applies to all tire purchases, as required under New Brunswick environmental regulations. This fee is non-negotiable and will appear as a line item at checkout. It applies whether tires are picked up or installed.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify that tires ordered are the correct size, load rating, speed rating, and fitment for their vehicle before placing an order. If you are unsure of the correct tire size for your vehicle, contact us before ordering at info@pitstopandgo.com or (506) 248-6006. Your correct tire size is printed on the sidewall of your current tires and in your vehicle owner's manual. If you order the wrong size: as long as the tires are still unmounted and unused, they can come back under our standard return policy (see Returns & Exchanges below). Once a tire has been mounted or driven on, it can no longer be returned.
Our return policy in plain language: • Returns within 14 days. Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are new, unused, undamaged, and in resalable condition. Returns are subject to fees (restocking and handling), unless the return is due to our error — wrong item supplied, a defect, or our mistake — in which case no fees apply. • After 14 days, items may be exchanged for in-store credit only, and only if they are unused and in resalable condition. No cash or card refunds after 14 days. • Special-order items (ordered in for you from a distributor) cannot be returned once the order has been placed with the distributor, except for defects or our error. • Items that have been mounted, driven on, or installed cannot be returned — for safety and resale reasons a used tire can't go back on the shelf. If a mounted tire turns out to be the wrong size, we'll work with you on a swap or store credit toward the correct replacement. New tires sold by PitStop & Go are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and we handle the warranty for you for up to the period your tire is covered. Coverage varies by tire — for example, around two years on some tires and one year on others. Contact us for the warranty details for your specific tire, and bring the tire and your receipt when making a claim; we take care of the process. Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship. They do not cover damage from road hazards, overloading, underinflation, racing, or normal wear and tear. This manufacturer/tire warranty is separate from our own 30-day workmanship warranty, which covers the quality of our labour (mounting, balancing, repairs) — see Returns & Warranty.
Tires purchased from PitStop & Go can be installed at our Fredericton shop. Installation pricing is separate unless a supply-and-install bundle is specified. Standard tire installation includes mounting, balancing, and fitting to your vehicle. Installation of tires purchased from PitStop & Go is subject to our full Tire Service Terms, available at pitstopandgo.com/policies.
PitStop & Go's liability for any claim arising from a tire purchase is strictly limited to the purchase price of the tire(s) in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including vehicle damage, personal injury, or losses arising from tire failure after installation.
