Terms for all tire purchases made through pitstopandgo.com or in-store at PitStop & Go in Fredericton, NB. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
PitStop & Go sells new tires both online through our store at pitstopandgo.com and in-store at our Fredericton location. We carry new tires from a range of manufacturers across premium, mid-range, and value tiers. Inventory and brand availability may vary by season and supplier stock. Tires may be purchased separately (supply only) or bundled with installation service at our shop. Installation pricing is separate from tire pricing unless explicitly stated as a bundle.
All tire prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or the Environmental Handling Fee unless explicitly stated. Tire availability is subject to supplier stock and seasonal demand. If a tire you order is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or process a full refund. Prices shown online are for tire supply only and do not include installation unless the listing explicitly states 'supply and install.'
Orders may be placed online through pitstopandgo.com or in-store. Online orders are confirmed by email. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and e-transfer. The full tire order total, including the Environmental Handling Fee and HST, is paid online at checkout when you place your order. Installation is separate: it's quoted in the shop and settled in the bay when we do the work, or there's nothing further to pay if you're picking your tires up unmounted. If we can't supply the tires you ordered, we order the wrong item, or we need to cancel your order for a reason on our end, we refund the full amount you paid. PitStop & Go reserves the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, inventory discrepancies, or payment issues. In such cases, a full refund of any amount paid will be issued promptly. Billing questions: if you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first at info@pitstopandgo.com or (506) 248-6006 before initiating a card dispute: almost every billing issue can be resolved directly, and faster. We respond to all card-network disputes with complete order records and communications.
The arrival date we show you is an estimate based on our supplier's schedule, not a guarantee. We text you the moment your tires land, not before.
Before we place the order with our supplier, you can cancel for a full refund at no cost. Call us at (506) 248-6006. Once the order is placed with our supplier, call us and we will work it out with you. What we can do depends on where the tires are.
Tires ordered online may be picked up in-store at 300 Wilsey Road #1, Fredericton, or installed at our shop. You will be notified by email or phone when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation. Uncollected orders held beyond 14 days may be subject to a daily storage fee of $5.00 per tire per day. We also deliver online tire orders free of charge within our local delivery area, which is Fredericton and the surrounding communities within roughly 40 km of our shop. There is no delivery fee and no minimum order. Delivery is made by our own team, not by a courier or a freight carrier, and we contact you to arrange it once your order is at the shop. If your postal code falls outside that area, checkout tells you before you pay and before any card is charged, and your order is fulfilled by installation at our shop or by in-store pickup instead. We do not ship tires by courier or by mail anywhere. Outside our local delivery area, all online tire orders are fulfilled by in-store pickup or installation at our Fredericton location.
The tire recycling levy, also called the Environmental Handling Fee (EHF), is set by Recycle NB. It is a regulated charge on the sale of a NEW tire, not a charge of ours, and we do not set it or keep it: we collect it and remit it in full. It appears as its own line at checkout and it applies whether your tires are picked up or installed. The rate depends on the class of tire. Passenger and light truck tires are $4.50 per tire, and that is the class we sell through this website. Medium truck tires carry a higher rate, and off-the-road tires are excluded from the regulation entirely and carry none. We do not sell those classes online, because the levy on them is set by hand so it is right. Call us at (506) 248-6006 and we will confirm the correct rate and price the order for you. It is not a disposal fee. Getting rid of your old tires costs you nothing.
We never guarantee fitment, not on a stock vehicle, not on a modified one, and not even when we're the ones who recommended the size. The vehicle owner makes the final call and is responsible for verifying the correct size, load rating, speed rating, and fitment before ordering. We're glad to help you get it right: check your vehicle's tire placard (on the driver's door jamb) or the size printed on your current tire's sidewall before you order, or send us your year, make, and model and we'll help you confirm it. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering at info@pitstopandgo.com or (506) 248-6006. If you order the wrong size: as long as the tires are still unmounted and unused, they're eligible under our Returns and Warranty policy. Once a tire has been mounted or driven on, it can no longer be returned.
Returns on tires bought from us follow our Returns and Warranty policy: if your tires have not been mounted, you can return them within 14 days of purchase, and a 20% restocking fee applies to the order total. This is also true for tires we bring in specially for you that we do not normally stock. Once a tire has been mounted on a wheel, it is a used tire and it cannot be returned. A defective tire or an error on our part, wrong item, wrong size we recommended, isn't handled as a return: see our Warranty policy for how we put that right at no cost to you. New tires bought from us carry the manufacturer's own warranty; we don't sell a warranty plan of our own. We keep your receipt, odometer reading, and service history on file so a claim goes through, and we handle the process with the manufacturer for you. Coverage, including road hazard protection where a manufacturer offers it, varies by brand and by tire line: our Warranty policy has the specifics we can confirm, including Sailun's published terms. This manufacturer warranty is a separate program from our own 30-day workmanship warranty, which covers the quality of our labour (mounting, balancing, repairs) and is also on the Warranty policy page. The treadwear, workmanship, road hazard and trial terms we have on file for every brand we carry, each sourced from that manufacturer's own published warranty, are published at pitstopandgo.com/tire-warranty.
Tires purchased from PitStop & Go can be installed at our Fredericton shop. Installation pricing is separate unless a supply-and-install bundle is specified. Standard tire installation includes mounting, balancing, and fitting to your vehicle. Installation of tires purchased from PitStop & Go is subject to our full Tire Service Terms, available at pitstopandgo.com/policies.
PitStop & Go's liability for any claim arising from a tire purchase is strictly limited to the purchase price of the tire(s) in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including vehicle damage, personal injury, or losses arising from tire failure after installation.
