Pricing & Estimates

All pricing displayed on our website, quoted verbally, or provided in writing constitutes an estimate only. Final pricing may differ based on vehicle condition, wheel condition, tire condition, and any unforeseen complications discovered during service. Factors that may affect final pricing include rusted or seized components, previously damaged wheels, non-standard fitments, customer-supplied parts requiring special handling, and any additional labour required to safely complete the job. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed or quoted at the time of booking is not guaranteed until service begins and conditions are assessed.

Additional Work Authorization

Where reasonably possible, PitStop & Go will notify you before applying charges above the original estimate. For safety-critical work where stopping mid-job would leave your vehicle in an unsafe state, we are authorized to proceed with additional work up to $75.00 above the original estimate without interruption. Any additional work beyond $75.00 requires your explicit authorization before we proceed.

Environmental & Regulatory Fees

A mandatory Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) of $4.50 per tire applies to all tire services, as required under New Brunswick's scrap-tire stewardship and recycling regulations. This fee is non-negotiable and applies in addition to all quoted service pricing. It will appear as a line item on your invoice.

Customer-Supplied Tires & Parts

We accept customer-supplied tires, wheels, and parts for installation. When you supply your own parts: • No warranty is provided on customer-supplied items — we warrant the labour only • We are not responsible for defects, incorrect sizing, incompatibility, or premature failure of your parts • If your parts are found to be unsafe or incompatible, we reserve the right to decline installation • Additional labour charges may apply if your parts require special handling or cause delays • You accept full responsibility for the suitability of all parts you supply

Vehicle & Wheel Condition

PitStop & Go is not responsible for damage or failure caused by pre-existing conditions, including rust, corrosion, weakened components, prior improper repairs, or manufacturer defects. Older and high-mileage vehicles carry an inherently higher risk of component failure during normal service procedures. Wheel Cosmetics: We are not responsible for cosmetic damage to wheels that are aged, corroded, previously refinished, aftermarket, or non-standard. Scratches, scuffs, or clear coat disturbance may occur during tire service and do not constitute negligence on our part. Low-profile, oversized, stretched, or non-OEM setups are serviced at the customer's risk. We reserve the right to refuse service on wheels or tires deemed unsafe.

TPMS & Electronics

TPMS sensors and vehicle electronics are sensitive and may fail due to age, corrosion, battery depletion, or prior damage — none of which are related to our service. We are not responsible for TPMS warning lights, sensor failures, programming issues, or relearn failures following a tire service. We will advise you before attempting removal of any sensor that appears at risk of damage.

Appointments & Cancellation

All appointment times are estimates. Delays may occur due to prior service overruns, vehicle complications, or factors outside our control. We are not liable for losses caused by delays. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee at our discretion. Same-day, emergency, or priority bookings may carry a premium charge, which will be disclosed before service begins.

Restricted Areas & Safety

For the safety of our staff and customers, only PitStop & Go employees and authorized personnel are permitted in service bays and work areas. Customers must remain in designated waiting areas at all times. Any customer who enters a restricted area does so at their own risk. Non-compliance may result in immediate service termination.

Photography & Marketing

We may photograph or video your vehicle before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, dispute resolution, and marketing purposes. Non-identifying images may be used on our website and social media. License plates and personal items will not be intentionally displayed. If you object to marketing use of your vehicle's image, please notify us at the time of service.

Vehicle Storage

Vehicles not collected within 48 hours of service completion notification will be subject to a storage fee of $30.00 per day. Storage fees must be paid in full before your vehicle is released. Vehicles left beyond 14 days after notice may be treated as abandoned in accordance with applicable New Brunswick law.

Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of service. We accept cash, debit, credit card, and e-transfer. Chargebacks on authorized, completed services are not permitted. Outstanding balances may result in refusal of future service, collection action, or legal recovery.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitStop & Go's liability for any claim is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of use, lost income, or inconvenience.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for safety concerns, unsafe vehicle conditions, abusive conduct, non-payment history, client impairment, or any circumstance deemed unreasonable. Where a safety or legal concern exists, we may contact law enforcement or emergency services.
