Hunter Road Force WalkAway
Our wheel balancer. It spins the wheel like any balancer, then presses a roller against the tire to find what a spin can't.
What it does
- Road force
- A roller presses up to 1,250 lb on the tire as it spins, the way the road does. It finds a stiff spot in the tire or a high spot in the rim, the cause of a shake a regular balance can't fix.
- WalkAway Inflation
- Inflates the tire and measures the balance on its own while we work on the next wheel.
- CenteringCheck
- Checks the wheel is centred on the shaft, so a wheel mounted off centre is caught before it's balanced.
- SmartWeight
- Works out the fewest weights that do the job, often a single one.
- SmartSpot
- A laser dot shows exactly where a stick-on weight goes inside the rim.
Sizes
Rims 10 to 30 inches. Tires up to 40 inches tall, 20 inches wide and 175 lb.
When you need it
- Your steering wheel shakes at highway speed after a balance.
- New tires still vibrate.
