When we accept returns and how the workmanship warranty works.

Returns & Warranty

How our workmanship warranty works, when tires can be returned, and what is outside our control.

Workmanship warranty

All tire work performed at PitStop & Go is covered by a 30-day workmanship warranty. If a balance fails, a wheel weight comes off, a mount unseats, or a repair leaks during that period — bring it back and we'll re-do the work at no charge. Tire repairs (interior patches) come with a leak-proof guarantee for the life of the tire, applied to the original patch we installed. This workmanship warranty covers OUR LABOUR and is separate from the tire manufacturer's warranty on the tire itself — which we also handle for you (see below).

What the warranty doesn't cover

The workmanship warranty doesn't cover damage caused by impact (potholes, curbs), continued operation on a leaking tire, modifications performed after our service, road hazards, or normal wear. Pre-existing component issues — corroded studs, seized lug nuts, cracked rims, dry-rotted rubber — are flagged at the time of service and the warranty doesn't extend to subsequent failures of those items.

Tire manufacturer warranties

Tires purchased through us carry their manufacturer's warranty, and we handle the warranty for you for up to the period your tire is covered. Coverage varies by tire — around two years on some tires, one year on others — so contact us for the warranty details for your specific tire. Bring the tire and your receipt and we take care of the claim process at no extra charge.

Returns on unmounted tires

New, unused, undamaged, in-resalable-condition items may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Returns are subject to fees (restocking and handling), unless the return is due to our error — wrong item supplied, a defect, or our mistake — in which case no fees apply. After 14 days, items may be exchanged for in-store credit only, and only if they are unused and in resalable condition; no cash or card refunds after 14 days. Special-order tires cannot be returned once the order has been placed with the distributor, except for defects or our error — see the Tire Sale Terms.

Returns on mounted tires

Once a tire has been mounted to a rim it cannot be returned. If a mounted tire turns out to be the wrong size for your vehicle, we'll work with you on a swap or store credit toward a correct replacement. Mileage and wear on a mounted tire void any return option.

How to make a claim

Bring the vehicle and your receipt to the shop during open hours, or call us at (506) 248-6006 to arrange a time. We will diagnose the issue and tell you on the spot whether the warranty applies. There is no fee to inspect a workmanship-warranty claim.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitStop & Go's liability for any claim arising from Services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
