Detailing Service Terms

Terms for all detailing services performed by PitStop & Go at 300 Wilsey Road #1, Fredericton, NB. Booking a detail means you agree to these terms.

Services Offered

PitStop & Go offers the following detailing services at our Fredericton location: • Exterior wash and dry • Hand wax and paint sealant • Interior vacuum and wipe-down • Full interior detail • Engine bay cleaning • Paint decontamination and clay bar treatment • Odor elimination • Interior and exterior detail packages • Pet hair removal • Stain removal (fabric, carpet, leather) All detailing services are performed at our fixed location at 300 Wilsey Road #1, Fredericton. We do not offer mobile detailing. Service availability may vary — contact us to confirm before booking.

Booking & Drop-Off

All detailing services operate on a drop-off only basis. Customers are required to leave their vehicle with us for the full duration of the work and arrange alternative transportation. Waiting on-site is not available for detailing appointments. Estimated completion times are provided at booking and confirmed at drop-off, but are not guaranteed. Actual duration depends on vehicle condition, extent of soiling, and service complexity. We will contact you when your vehicle is ready for pickup. Please plan accordingly — full details, multi-service packages, and pet hair removal jobs typically require several hours. We will call or text when your vehicle is ready.

Pricing & Estimates

Detailing pricing is based on vehicle size, service type, and the condition of the vehicle at drop-off. All prices quoted in advance are estimates. Final pricing may differ based on actual vehicle condition, time required, and the extent of work needed. For heavily soiled vehicles, pet hair removal, and stain removal, pricing is confirmed after vehicle inspection. If the vehicle's condition at drop-off differs materially from what was described at booking, we reserve the right to re-quote before proceeding. The customer may decline at that point without charge, and any deposit collected will be refunded.

Payment Structure

Payment structure varies by job size: • Small or single-service jobs: full payment due upon completion at pickup. • Large, multi-service, or extended jobs: a deposit is required to confirm the booking. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking. • All deposits are applied toward the final invoice total. • Deposits are non-refundable once collected (see Cancellation Policy below). We accept cash, debit, credit card, and e-transfer. Your vehicle will not be released until the full balance is paid. Chargebacks on authorized, completed services are not permitted.

Satisfaction Guarantee

PitStop & Go stands behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the results of your detailing service, we will re-address the specific area of concern at no additional charge — subject to the following conditions: • The concern must be raised before the vehicle leaves our premises. Once the vehicle has been picked up, we are unable to verify whether a concern relates to our work or to post-pickup conditions. No satisfaction claims will be accepted after the vehicle departs. • The guarantee applies to workmanship only. It does not apply to results that are inherently limited by the vehicle's condition — such as stains that resist treatment, paint that is too oxidized to fully correct, odors from deeply embedded sources, or surfaces that are damaged or worn beyond the reach of standard detailing. • The guarantee does not apply to undisclosed surface conditions (e.g. matte paint, vinyl wraps, or ceramic coatings not mentioned at drop-off). Before you leave, take a few minutes to inspect your vehicle with us present. We want you to leave happy — and we're always happy to address anything on the spot.

Heavily Soiled, Pet Hair & Biohazard Vehicles

Vehicles with excessive soiling, significant pet hair, or requiring stain removal are quoted per job after inspection. Additional charges will be confirmed before work begins. Pet Hair Removal Pricing is based on the volume and distribution of hair throughout the vehicle. Heavily embedded pet hair extends service time significantly. Pricing is confirmed at drop-off inspection. Stain Removal Results depend on stain type, material, and how long the stain has been present. Complete elimination is not guaranteed for set-in stains. Expected outcomes will be communicated before service begins. Biohazard & Extreme Soiling We reserve the right to refuse service on vehicles containing biohazard material (blood, bodily fluids, mold, severe contamination). If biohazard conditions are discovered after service begins, we will stop work immediately and invoice for work completed to that point. Any deposit will be applied to that invoice.

Detailing Products & Surface Sensitivity

We use professional-grade products appropriate for standard automotive finishes. We ask customers about special surfaces and sensitivities at the time of booking and at drop-off. The customer is responsible for disclosing any of the following before service begins: • Matte, satin, or ceramic-coated paint finishes • Aftermarket vinyl wraps or partial wraps • Third-party ceramic coatings (compatibility varies by product) • Exotic leather, suede, or alcantara interior materials • Custom painted or delicate aftermarket trim We are not responsible for adverse reactions on undisclosed surfaces. The satisfaction guarantee does not apply where special surfaces were not disclosed prior to service.

Pre-Existing Damage & Vehicle Condition

A visual inspection of the vehicle is conducted at drop-off. Pre-existing damage — including scratches, dents, stains, and trim damage — is documented at that time. Customers are encouraged to review and confirm the inspection record before leaving. PitStop & Go is not responsible for pre-existing damage. All damage concerns must be raised before the vehicle leaves our premises. Claims reported after pickup cannot be verified and will not be accepted.

Paint, Surfaces & Cosmetic Limitations

The following limitations are inherent to detailing and are not covered by our satisfaction guarantee: • Pre-existing paint chips, scratches, or clear coat damage • Swirl marks on heavily oxidized paint during machine polishing — this reflects existing paint condition, not workmanship error • Stains, odors, or water spots that resist professional treatment due to age, depth, or material • Odor elimination is not permanently guaranteed — effectiveness depends on the source and severity • Severely damaged leather, heavily oxidized plastic, or irreversibly set stains

Cancellation Policy

All deposits collected at the time of booking are non-refundable, regardless of the notice given. The deposit secures your booking slot and covers preparation time — it cannot be returned if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled. If the customer chooses to reschedule rather than cancel, the deposit may be applied to the rescheduled appointment at the Company's discretion, provided rescheduling is requested with reasonable notice. Exception: if the Company is unable to perform the service for any reason on our end (equipment failure, staffing, etc.), the deposit will be refunded in full or applied to a rescheduled appointment at the customer's preference. No-shows (failing to drop off without any notice) forfeit the full deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook.

Photography & Marketing

We may photograph your vehicle before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, and marketing purposes. Before-and-after photos may be used on our website and social media. License plates and personal items will not be intentionally displayed. If you object to marketing use of your vehicle's image, notify us at drop-off.

Vehicle Storage

Vehicles not collected within 48 hours of service completion notification are subject to a storage fee of $30.00 per day. Storage fees must be paid before vehicle release. Vehicles left beyond 14 days after notice may be treated as abandoned under applicable New Brunswick law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitStop & Go's liability for any claim arising from a detailing service is strictly limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. All damage claims must be raised before the vehicle leaves our premises.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for safety concerns, biohazard conditions, abusive conduct, non-payment, client impairment, or any circumstance we deem unreasonable. If service is refused before any work has been performed, any deposit collected will be refunded in full.
